Swansea's Easter recent form has left little to be desired for the Welsh side. Their past three games have ended without a victory at full-time. Consecutive defeats against Wrexham (2-0) and Coventry (3-0) preceded their latest fixture which saw them squander a three-nil lead against Sheffield United. Before that, Vítor Matos' side had been the division's form team at the Swansea.com Stadium. Their campaign overall sees them comfortably clear of relegation danger, so they enter this fixture with relative calm. Crucially, Swansea have not drawn a blank at home since the end of October, showing consistent attacking output even in defeat.

This is an enormous fixture for Middlesbrough. Having been leapfrogged into second by Millwall on Good Friday, when 32 shots and 69 touches in the opposition box still ended in a 1-2 defeat. Their failure to convert their control in games into goals has become a defining and damaging theme over recent fixtures for Kim Hellberg’s side. Boro now trail Millwall and sit third, with seven games remaining. Their seven away wins this season actually suggest they have the capability on the road but in this fixture, they must rekindle it away from the Riverside yet again.
